• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reflections

Just looking back at this whole process and to see how nice of ride this has developed into. I know what the ride was like last year even though I did not go on it, I am surprised they did not plan an optional bobsled ride down Mt. Van Hovenburg, it was still a great route. If you guys ever get a chance to do it, it is a thill of a life time that you will never forget. When ken and I first started talking about doing this we started with an idea to see the old covered bridges. So being familiar with Bennington from riding snowmobiles their in the late nineties I knew of the monument, but that was it. Now I know a little more about america's history, When your on the tour, make sure you ask the tour guide a bunch of questions about why it is their. Two years ago I was on a self-guided tour that included a trip to the top of Equinox mountain, but it was raining that day so we had no views at the top, but I said to myself I must come back. (It was also raining the day I scouted the route)I did ride to the top on a two wheeler and that alone is pretty incredible. This will be my third time and I pray for clear skies. The cheese factory me and my buddy happened to find when scouting the route. We stopped at this place called Johney's Seesaw ( a lot of history here as well) cause it looked like an interesting place. Looking at the brochures we came across the cheese factory and it was near our route so we checked it out. This will be a surprise to what you are thinking, it was to me. All in all I had allot of fun setting this up and I hope you guys and gals enjoy it as well.

The ride and route for this tour all sounds good Ron! I probably will head south after a short work day on Wed the 9th and stay at a motel some place over night, maybe in the Rutland or the Castleton area. I don't presently have any reservations made, but I should be able to find a place where I can stay. I really don't want to get up so early on Thursday leaving from Northern VT and heading 4 hours south before I meet up with everyone. That would make for a long tiring day. I hope the weather cooperates for us. Riding in rainy climates isn't much fun. Lets pray for sunshine!

Hey buddy, if Dave enters were all doomed since he did take first place at Lamont's party.:roflblack:

Now is that fair?:yikes:

Bikes shows are kind of like racing.

"When the green flag drops, the friendship stops" :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

He won't have time to get down there as we'll be busy working.

But, you never know his wife Sue could bring it down. :D
