• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my reservations set for Americade June 9th-13th at Lake George RV Resort. Taking the toy hauler and staying with 2 other couples from
Long Island, one with a Spyder and of course mine. Anyone else going?

Your ship come in yet, not sure if anyone coming up with me or not. Wife? My riding buddy may be in Florida? Let Me know your plans when you can.

Nah, we got kids here this summer. One out of college and hanging out here, the other one graduating high school and hanging out here. Then the oldest - not sure if he'll be here or not. We normally wait till after labor day for a vacation - by then me and HDX need one.:2thumbs:

See, we WON'T have kids here this summer!

(I have four months to twist your arm...Hmmm? How about just one night??!! Think of the parade up to NY--HDX leading, and RoadDog following with a load of ice cream...)

Last time we were in a parade we were in your neck of the woods - in North Adams - we rode down Main St. having no idea there was this parade going on - went right through them the opposite way - it was hysterical!

Hey--stop blaming that one on me! I wasn't even there...You survived the "parade" down Mt. Greylock...

Nope we didn't know ya back then. Would have been real cool if you were on this ride w/ us! I don't even think the Spyder was invented. I was a passenger with HDX and I remember being "in town" and the hills were like vertical drops and his GPS was telling him to go a certain way. Well he went that way and we ended up backwards in a Parade:2thumbs: Cops were trying to stop him and he kept telling them that his GPS told him to go this way. We also had a slew of others we rode in with following us. It was pretty comical. At first I had my hands over my eyes going down the steep side streets with kids runnning all over the road with balloons, old people trying to carry their little parade chairs, cars and chaos everywhere. I really thought we were gonna hit someone but HDX got us through that. If I had the Spyder then I would have done good too but I was a wreck for a while until we actually got IN the parade riding the opposite way they were going. Then I thought it was all just hysterical!

There are five of us going: one from VA, three from central NY and I'm from Southern NJ. We had a great time last year especially on the Thurs of that week when BRP sponsored the trip to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mt.

There were 30+ Spyders there last year; there should be an equally large contingent there this year.

We'll look forward to meeting you.

I was there the last few years as well, but did not go on that ride however that area is very pretty. I ride snowmobiles in the saranac area once a year and going riding in lake george in two weeks. I don't like to ride in to big of groups as i feel that is an accident waiting to happen. A BRP dinner/boat ride would be nice. Look forward to meeting you also. Did you ride in with Shawn.
