Am I farkled out??

Three times??? :shocked::shocked::shocked:

Do you realize how many farkles you could have had by now if you would've put them all on the same Spyder? That's why I cannot upgrade to a 1330. :sour:

 :lecturef_smilie:Please don't ever say this around my Missus; she'd kill me!

The short answer is no. You can never have to many ..............(fill in the blank).

My most highly farkeled :spyder2::ani29: were the 2008 and 2009 GS/RS versions. At that time, they pretty much were just stock and few farkles available. $6,000 or so later (each machine), and they were almost RT's (except for the ride).

Once the RT was introduced, I have went there each time (3) and had minimum farkles--mostly lights, seats, and floorboards.

I note that many of you now start there and just keep uping the ante.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::firstplace::firstplace::firstplace::firstplace:

2013-2016 ST & RT Front Shock Spring Adjusters (Only for those Spyders WITHOUT Factory Front Shock Pre-load Adjusters)

I agree, a must have for sure! Otherwise he's got everything pretty well covered.

Do you have TricLED mirror turn signal lights? Another must have is having your Spyder Squared Away

I agree, not a word about this to any of our Missus's. :yikes::pray:

Your not even close to being done
how about full custom paint ?
you never said anything about chrome
it's time to start having every metal part
that can be seen chromed. Get a trailer and do all
the body work on it to match your full custom paint
then start the chrome process on the trailer,
While all this is going on you will need another ride,
so get to the dealer and buy a new Spyder to ride then
start all over again on that one...
It is never over
Ride and chrome safe
Dave
P.S. looking at your Avatar..... you could get a new one and make it into a Rat Spyder
your options are limitless.....

Since I bought my 2014 RT, I've installed:
Ultimate seat with gas cap door, driver and passenger backrest, passenger armrests
Tricled front fender and saddlebag LEDs
Tricled tail light
Hopnel dashboard bags, saddlebag bag and trunk bags
Wolo Big Boy horn
Driver and passenger cup holders
Ram X-Grip for my phone
?? Some brand dashboard voltage meter
JT's dashboard USB ports
iPod (in trunk)
Kuryakyn Goldwing grips
Baja Ron Sway Bar
LidLox
Trailer hitch
Bumpskid
Aluma trailer
Can-Am air flow .. thingies
Cardo G9 headsets
LaMonster highway peg mounts and pegs
Spyderflaps mudflap
Spyderpops missing belt guard
Enough miscellaneous tools that I can perform a heart transplant on the road (at least I think I can)

Have I reached the end of my farkling universe? AM I done?? I've never reached this point on a bike before, and I have a mild panic setting it. I enjoy farkling almost as much as ryding, but I don't want to add junk just to do it. My byke couldn't be brighter, so I don't need more lights. I'm done with loud pypes, don't want to waste my hearing on them. (Once Sena releases their anti-noise helmet I'm in).

If anyone has a really useful item I haven't considered, please let me know. Otherwise it might be time for me to start planning my cross-country trip :p:p (not until I retire in 5 years).
I'd like to see a picture on daylight and night. I'd like to see how cool it is.

FARKLES ADDED

...Just went from # 54 to # 56, changed to a Gold Plug for the engine of my 1330. And adding my DIY belt guard....Mike

I guess I answered my own question

Hard to categorize this as a farkle or merely an accessory, but...

Today I ordered a half-cover from Big Bike Parts. I'll be taking a four day ryde to New Orleans in March, and the last time I did this the byke was covered with a lot of dew every morning. This will at least keep the windshield and the seat dry.

I'm also waiting for Sena to release their noise-cancelling helmet. It'll probably be pricey, but at 60 I need to preserve what hearing I can.

So the "really useful item" comment got me to thinking about the farkling we all do. For me, they fall into 6 areas;
Braking, Suspension, Engine (HP), Safety, Comfort, and Bling.

I would suggest you have the Safety, Comfort, and Bling areas covered. How about some Brake, Suspension, or HP farkles for a change of farkling?

 I think that you've got a GREAT start!! :2thumbs:
But it's never over...

:roflblack::roflblack::agree: As long as you have made it yours & are happy (hopefully not broke):2thumbs:
only additional items to assist but not as obvious the FOBO system, a spyder rack (you already have hitch) & a FLO (frunk lid organizer). Originally made & found at last years spydrfest by BJ's impressions:firstplace:

has been copied & remade by other vendors now fyi. But still a handy pouch for the frunk for the smaller items that would fall th the bottom of a stuffed frunk. Also helps not having to bend over & dig if your like me. 1item not a farkle but handy would be a "jump pack"
attachment.php
fyi walmart & can jumpstart most any vehicle & small enough to carry around easily. Few variations out there

. Without pushing your light limits id suggest a wireless brakelight you can mount to helmet. http://www.jccomputac.com/site/mobile?url=http://www.jccomputac.com/Rider_Gadgets.html#2638
. Hope this helps not hurts:clap:

I need to beg everyone's forgiveness for my naivety when I started this thread. The farkling hasn't even slowed down.

This week I installed a luggage rack. Every bike I've ever owned had one and I missed it for when I just need a bit more capacity and don't want to pull the trailer. I needed one that wouldn't block my customer dynamic brake, running, turn signal module in the center of the trunk. I bought the rack from Rivco. 4 screws, easy installation thanks to the paper template for the screw holes, a steel plate between the screws for strength (will support 12 lbs). Although the trunk lid is heavier, it sits at an angle when open so that the trunk stays open. It is expandable - the back of the rack stretches an addition 3 inches in you need. I have an old Willie Max trunk that fits perfectly.

(Sorry about the picture rotation. Rotating them on my PC didn't help I I copied them here).

What you have to do is rotate the pictures in a picture editor app like MS Paint, Office Picture Manager, Photoshop, or the free IrfanView, etc. Then save them back to your computer, and then upload them.

Your new trunk rack looks nice, and even when you have it loaded up you can still see your high brake light.

I didn't hear you mention my new Seal KEYLESS HELMET LOCK or my new REAR TOTE RACK. Both would make your cross-country adventure even better! Why not complete the great project you have started:firstplace: BTW, the seal will not block your trunk light bar (if you have one) from being seen by the person behind you.
