• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Am I farkled out??

Since I bought my 2014 RT, I've installed:
Ultimate seat with gas cap door, driver and passenger backrest, passenger armrests
Tricled front fender and saddlebag LEDs
Tricled tail light
Hopnel dashboard bags, saddlebag bag and trunk bags
Wolo Big Boy horn
Driver and passenger cup holders
Ram X-Grip for my phone
?? Some brand dashboard voltage meter
JT's dashboard USB ports
iPod (in trunk)
Kuryakyn Goldwing grips
Baja Ron Sway Bar
LidLox
Trailer hitch
Bumpskid
Aluma trailer
Can-Am air flow .. thingies
Cardo G9 headsets
LaMonster highway peg mounts and pegs
Spyderflaps mudflap
Spyderpops missing belt guard
Enough miscellaneous tools that I can perform a heart transplant on the road (at least I think I can)

Have I reached the end of my farkling universe? AM I done?? I've never reached this point on a bike before, and I have a mild panic setting it. I enjoy farkling almost as much as ryding, but I don't want to add junk just to do it. My byke couldn't be brighter, so I don't need more lights. I'm done with loud pypes, don't want to waste my hearing on them. (Once Sena releases their anti-noise helmet I'm in).

If anyone has a really useful item I haven't considered, please let me know. Otherwise it might be time for me to start planning my cross-country trip :p:p (not until I retire in 5 years).

Tri-axis handlebars
HMT brake light on trunk lid
3rd and 4th brake light strips? (may that's what you mean with the TricLed stuff)?
Brake light flasher
FOBO bike TPMS
GPS of some kind or phone mount at dash?
Arm rests for passenger
Alarm system
Blacked out windshield bracket
Glow Riders
LED lights under and around the Spyder with remote control

I am sure I could think of more :)

Tri-axis handlebar -- Hmmm, might be interesting. However, I'm very comfortable with the stock handlebars
HMT brake light on trunk - Yes, I have that
3rd and 4th brake light strips? (may that's what you mean with the TricLed stuff)? - Redundant
Brake light flasher - I'm lit up like a Christmas tree. Might be good to have, haven't decided. First bike I've had without one.
FOBO bike TPMS - I forgot to list this. I LOVE this feature.
GPS of some kind or phone mount at dash? - RT Limited, have the Garmin GPS and my phone mounted on the dashboard (to monitor my tire pressure and blood sugar)
Arm rests for passenger - Done
Alarm system - Hmm...suggestions?
Blacked out windshield bracket - ?? What is this? Picture of vendor?
Glow Riders - Not for me
LED lights under and around the Spyder with remote control - Not for me either

No, no, no....

It's never over..:lecturef_smilie: it's a circle with no begining and no end. Some say a vicious one but most have fun with it. You may have earned a breather and a sideline seat but you are not done. Those guys out there keep coming up with new ones and improvements on the old ones....Have a coffee/beer and check your mail box or email for the next gotta have item coming your way..

NOT EVEN CLOSE

Congratulations..................However since I'm a two finger typist so I'll just state my number is at " 54 ", but I haven't finished this winters plans yet........................Mike

Only thing i would recommend is a hitch plate from Spyderpops to stop the rooster tali of dirt and water up the back of your Spyder from the rear tire.

And turn signals in your mirror from Spyderpops also.

Some answers:

Alarm system which I had to put on because I would come out of some place and find an idiot sitting on my Spyder.
Both of these have a microwave sensor you can adjust so if someone gets into the Y it chirps at them and if they continue sets off the Alarm.
I have the SPY 5000m. Ebay about $90. Make sure to pay attention that it comes with the sensor some do not.
Other like the Scorpio motorcycle alarm. It's a little more in price.

As for the windshield blackout. Cruzer Joe did mine (black powder coat).
Some have just painted them.
It's a cool thing because dirt builds up behind the windshield and the bracket and looks unsightly. You can just clean it but dirt builds up here faster than other places due to the wind pressure, etc.

Delusional state of mind

to think that it ever ends...nope doesn't happen...and then when you think you are about there you trade in on a new one and start all over!!!!:roflblack::roflblack::yikes:

:D I don't feel so bad now; I've only done it twice... ;)

...so far! :roflblack:
But the FIRST one, was pretty special!

Three times??? :shocked::shocked::shocked:

Do you realize how many farkles you could have had by now if you would've put them all on the same Spyder? That's why I cannot upgrade to a 1330. :sour:
