• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After I had mine painted, from the original stock yellow & black, fewer bees do happen to stop by. I'm guessing the yellow makes them think its some kinda flower, only to disapoint.

Yellow attracts bees. I learned this from my days of working construction and wearing bright yellow shirts and driving a yellow truck for safety reasons. A pain some times but safety was more important.

All the ladies are attracted to the yellow RS Spyder. Why would female bees be any different ???? :roflblack:

Randy, I think the only female bee in the colony is the Queen......It's one of those thing that if I'm right I don't know why I know that. The stuff that fills our heads.

You are just assuming that the bee is female:lecturef_smilie:, upon further inspection I didn't see any high heels or a credit card:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:....Look real close he is just sitting there lethargic like just like some of us men after a few beers......oh sorry and on the bee thing they are atractedto allbright colors not just yellow that is how the planet gets pollinated well that and the wind

Credit cards and heels lol. I started laughing so hard I went into a coughing fit... Kids thought I was going to die.. That was good.

Sorry folks, all the honey bees are ladys except for the Drones and they dont go flying around much. The drones only have one thing to do and thats just once, pretty much a sucide mission. As usual the ladys rule.

I have a yellow Spyder and do not have this problem. I'm thinking it must be the wax or polish you are using on your Spyder. I use Plexus on the windshield and Original Bike Spirits on the body of the Spyder. I'm terrified of bees!! So, glad this is not happening to me!!!

They were landing on my yellow an black car too. Almond blossoms are in full swing and the honey bees are everywhere.... Which leads to some road carnage as they seem to splat often.

I use Meguiars ultimate quick wax on both... So maybe it's both the color and the wax.
