• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No, not in my pant, I am not old yet :D

In my car. It was very slick out this morning. I went around a corner and started sliding sideways. First it looked like I was going to hit a pole, and it was...no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no! The I missed that and headed straight to a parked Lexus, then it was...NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO!!!. I was in grass, so the friction finally stopped my car. Close one.

A visual representation of the moment...

Glad you dodged a bullet. Welcome to "ice" driving. You can go, but very hard to control once the ice "gets" you. :yikes:

 I feel sorry for that guy, Cleveland...

Oh! But I'm glad that you survived the Auto-Luge event!

Yikes...!!!

Glad you fared well...😓 had it happen once on wet leaves leading into a rather busy intersection....no one was there....😓

Glad that you are ok.

BTDT to a certain extent. Was headed eastbound on a section of I70 in Columbus, OH during a snow storm. The section of road was elevated and curved and traffic was moving so slowly that the rear end of the car broke free and started falling into the curve. There were three different of us that ended up faced the wrong way right next to the guard rail.

Well this morning was a sheet of ice all over town. I never seen so many accidents and truckers in ditches this morning.

I barely made it to work on time and I left 2 1/2 hours early

Black ice everywhere :yikes:

Glade you faired well. I know the feeling the weather makes you relearn how to get a reality check sometimes.

Yes, I have seen others do that, particularly in their four wheel drive SUV's. I never thought it would happen to me. Lucky I didn't pay a big price for the lesson.
