• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. All the 2016 Spyder Lineup info posted here!

Hey, what happened to the Youtube links for the 2016 F3 and RT that were on here? Now, they are gone from Youtube as well. I guess it was a teaser.

That was a glitch with youtube and it wasn't suppose to go live till 9 pm. By time I saw it they had already made the videos private. I when ahead and deleted the dead links and comments but kudos to you guys for finding that. :doorag:

didn't see anything I would trade my 09 phantom for.

55k and its still rockin.

and its paid for

I kinda feel the same way only I have 35k on mine. I was hoping for some new colors on the F3, the bagger one does not do it for me. The storage is nice but it really ruins the look of the back of the bike in my opinion. I have soft saddle bags on my 09 that would work on the F3 anyway.

The shame is I was ready to run to my dealer this morning and drop some cash on a 2016 or find a killer deal on a 2015.

A top-of-the-line F3 is now about the same price as a Mustang GT 5.0. The price point of the higher end models of most Spyder lines is starting to verge on insane.

more pics and query

pics courtesy Naomi of Ledgewood Powersports - questions - the backrest (white bike) - looks like it swivels to be passenger or rider ?? The Back End (red bike) - is this one standard? looks great

Gotta say it's growing on me, look forward to seeing it some time next year

Can a top-box be mounted behind the passenger seat? Or is that part not made to be adapted?

Curious

I noticed that the RT Limited comes with the "older" Zumo 660 instead of the 590. I swapped by 660 with the 590 on my 2014 RTL. I much prefer the 590. Curious why BRP went back to the 660.

What's up with the gold accents on the RSS models. Oh, it just looks terrible! Disappointing release year for me. I'd like to buy a 2nd Spyder but the expansion of the F3 line is completely the wrong direction for my tastes and riding style.

Maybe I can work a sweet deal on a 2015 RSS?

Sort of disappointed in the 2016 line up---and NO VIPER RED STILL? What GIVES?

Well,

I am finding all the information this morning on the new 2016 line up. I really do not see a lot of differences for 2016 RTS-SE6.

We were really hoping they'd bring back the VIPER RED this year. It's a highly visible nice looking color. SO now they did an "INTENSE RED PEARL". Hummmmm

USB Interface is nice but really what else? Not much that I see.

So if we want to upgrade from our 2012 Viper Red RTS-SE5 Guess we can look at 2014 or 2015 and save big dollars.

I realize those model years had their own issues and would hope that if we did that decision we wouldn't be sorry either. Like Key issues and some of the other little things.

So will ponder this over and decide from there. We bought our 2012 in December of that year so maybe we will trade around the same time this year or maybe not at all. Will see but there is enough changes I think since the 2012 that I am interested in upgrading.

Such decisions! It's a gamble!

Have a great weekend! :D

I can tell you the RSS looked hot in person and the color of the cast parts look pretty cool too. My wife loved it.

Garmins supplier for the glass on the 590 went belly up and they haven't found a new supplier that can fill the orders needed so they went back to the 660.

I would say no. It's for more adjustment for the passenger.

wondering if the new audio system can adapt to the 14 on up RT models since you mentioned it was sounded much better on the F3..

The F3 limited looks really sharp!!

How about some other pics of new accessories or clothing, jackets etc..

I agree! My 2011 RS is just as nice, if not better than anything they have for 2016. Have to see what 2017 brings...

I just saw pictures of the back of the f3 with the hard bags. Sorry, but IMHO it looks hideous. Looks like the back end of a boat!

lamont, did they change the shock for the f3t and limited to allow for trailering. if so, can the new shock and or spring be retrofitted to the 2015 f3? we still haven't found the answer to our bottoming out. our total weight is under 400#.

When a company who is supposed to be tech-innovative lists "blue has never been available in the 1330 before" (or something like that) it's time to say that more than likely their tech innovator title is not merited.

Again, what a yawn.
