• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

All the 2016 Spyder Lineup info posted here!

I like my 13 RTL just fine. There is nothing the 14s, 15s and 16s have that want me to run out and trade in my 13. Give me a 2000CC engine with shaft drive, now that would make me stand in line.

Thank you Lamont for showing pics and getting answers out to all of us! You're the man!!! Much appreciated even if I didn't get the answer I was hoping for.

It very much

The joke?

They've had about four years in a row, where they made serious changes to their product line.
If they need to catch their breath a bit; it would seem reasonable... ;)

well alright.
Then you excuse a mediocre product line because they need time to regroup?

sorry but when they ask for 30K of my money they had better deserve it.

And they don't.

Mediocre?
You need a Snickers Bar! :roflblack:
It's a definite improvement over last year's line-up...
Too bad that they didn't offer what you were looking for; perhaps next year...

so what do you see as the great improvement ?

I guess the new blue never offered before?

Sorry but they haven't offered any tangible improvement, you can make as many excuses as you want.

You're only seeing what you want to see... :banghead:
They broadened the F-3 line-up with a couple of worthwhile additions...
They added features to the RTs...
(And the BLUE color)

There aren't too many companies that are capable of massive shake-ups in their product line each year...
Would we all like to see more?
Hell yeah!
But we'd also like to see a company that doesn't go bankrupt also. nojoke

We got what we got; nothing will change that now...
I would like to have seen some revisions to the RT's bodywork...
Perhaps it'll come next year; perhaps not! :D

So I love Blue.

And Lamont's view is absolutley correct.

I can hardly wait until they change the color of the display.

Maybe back to blue.
Won't that be cool and cutting edge?

You better believe it.

I know when I'm out gunned.

Bye.

Having an opinion that doesn't include worship of BRP and Lamont's view is not in keeping with this website.

Alright, I happen to know more about Spyders then most here but since I don't fall into the the website paradigm, this is ihe last time you will hear from me.

Okay, gosh BRP is great and everything they do is great

Got it.

That's what this website is all about.

This is :spyder2: lovers and not :ani29: haters. Most of us do like our :spyder2::ani29: We sometimes have a bit of a love/hate relationship with BRP. Many of us predicted 2016 would be a take it easy year with color changes being the big deal.

2014: Introduction of the 1330 ACE engine in the RT.
2015: Introduction of the F3 with the 1330 ACE engine.
2016: Further development of the F3 with some nice looking packages--IMO of course. They did more than I was expecting.

I am going to be looking at a F3 red limited. And back in 2014 I said the Yellow RT would be my last :ani29:.

Nice option on the 2016 RT, But I am keeping my 2014RTS-SE6 cognac for a long time. I think BRP should have offered brighter colors in the RT- Line up. Deanna

While I am disappointed Can-Am didn't upgrade the RS yet again, I still love my Spyder and am still thrilled with it. My wife and I took a ride this afternoon and there is just nothing like it. Can-Am was ahead of their time when they first came out with it, and they still are to this day. Let's just all enjoy our awesome Spyders every day and be glad we are able to ride such an outstanding machine that is so much more fun than the sea of the ho-hum motorcycles out there, and the dime a dozen Harley's everywhere. Let's hear it for BRP!:bowdown::bowdown:

I'm actually very excited by the changes for the F3. I had the RT a few years back but got rid of it due to a slew of mechanical issues. I've been on a Star Stratoliner ever since which fits my 6' 2" frame very well but I've missed the stability of the Spyder. I started looking at a new RT last year with the 1330 but it seemed like they shrunk the seating position on the bike. My 5'2" wife loves the way the RT feels while I'd be more comfortable driving from the passenger seat.

When the F3 arrived with the U-Fit system, I thought that I'd found the bike that would bring me back to Can Am. Unfortunately I simply couldn't get past the lack of storage, no radio, etc. I've been watching Lamont's mods with interest, especially given the fact that Pitbull Powersports and the Lamonster Garage are a mere two hours from Northwest Arkansas.

The F3-T just addressed my major objections to the F3! Now I just have to find out how long until it comes out so I can do a test ride and make sure it's everything I hope it is.
