• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

All the 2016 Spyder Lineup info posted here!

I love the F3-T in Intense Red Pearl SM6 with added stereo and heated grips. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of other color options on the other models, but not surprised.

gps

Hmm. Like the look of the F3-T - but a touring bike with no GPS option ?? bit odd.

AND I hope Australia doesn't follow it's usual pattern of manual-only for base model and if you want electronic shift you have to buy the S or the Ltd

- If they bring out the F3T Ltd ONLY in SE6 and the F3T ONLY in SM6, I think they'll lose a lot of potential sales

--- eg F3S SE6 in Oz is $30K (well $5 change), compare that to US price and you will see that the USD27 odd for the F3-T Ltd would translate to mid-high 30's for Australia .. getting a bit steep - BRP Australia I hope you really think about this. F3T SM6 AND SE6 + specific options as desired may be best for our market.

Love the integrated bags, really suits the bike I think

EDIT I've seen MORE PICS - really like the 'back end' design, and the pic showed GPS and what looked like swivel driver/passenger backrest. Hmm. It's growing on me... better start saving the spondulics ...

What's with the different nose and fender/lights on the F3-T in the pictures on pages 4 & 11 of the brochure? Quite interesting looking, but they don't seem to appear in the other pictures in the line-up description / rest of the brochure.

Well, now what do the original customers of the 2015 F3S do that want to pull their Freedom Trailer. Does anyone know if the 2016 hitch can be retro fitted or are we screwed out of our warranty with an aftermarket hitch??

Yay... my 2014 RT is still relevant and I would like to order a USB port now. I wonder if I can have both the iPort and the USB wired to the audio system?

they are only showing it for the f3-t or f3 limited! think you're outa luck!:opps:

So the big deal for 16' is a bunch of touring options for the f3 to make it compete with the RT? Awesome!

STS only

Looks like they are indeed phasing out the ST. They only show 1 model. STS only no base or Limited models.

Looks like the new fenders, front grille and 'signature light' on the front of the F3 are all available as accessories. Not part of any model.

Options. Fenders and grill

New fenders and grill are hidden on the options page ....

The F3 sound system and I will say it rocks and every BRP person I talked to said it's much better than the RT sound system.

Lamont, silly easy question. I noticed a new IPod interface cable in the accessories catalog. No photo and maybe I was misreading it.

Are they going to offer a new IPod interface cable that does not require the Apple adapter?

Thanks
PK

Yes, now everything is USB like the pic above, just plug your cable in. No need for any adapters now for Apple or anyone else.

That is correct. The fenders are steel and there's also a steel rear fender option. It's a shorty fender.

I would love to get the white saddlebags on my F3. Hopefully they have improved them some and the price won't be too much higher but probably not.

This is not going to be an option for the current F3 and I'm sure ordering the parts and doing it yourself would not be cost effective.

I wonder if BRP has addressed belt vibrations in their 2016 lineup and I hope if they have done something about it, it is able to be retrofitted into the 2015 and earlier models.

I didn't hear any mention of that. I'll see if I can find out anything more today.

The swingarm has been changed to add the hitch and air ride. Looks to me that it's the exact same hitch that's on the RT. You won't be able to retro fit it.
