• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Akrapovic and cat delete

I finally got around to install akrapovic muffler and cat delete I bought two month ago...
It is loud, right on the verge of being too loud but good, low tone loud without any popping at decel I was expecting.
I did a little trick I saw online with a quarter inch thumbscrew turned at 45 degree angle inside the cat delete.

I forgot to take a pic of thumbscrew inside the cat delete but it’s something like the drawing, just turned at 45 degree angle.
I’m not sure if this version of baffle with thumbscrew did enough for spyder to not to pop at decel but I’m happy it’s not happening when people with just cat delete and stock muffler is having the popping issue.

At 90 degrees:Had the lowest horsepower, but the 2500-4000 RPM power was the highest. This is the RPM band that most riders spend their time riding.

At 45 degrees: Improves the 3000-4000 RPM horsepower drop over parallel to pipe without any significant drop in maximum power.

parallel to pipe : Makes the most power, but has a huge hole in the power band just above 3000 RPMs. Since the thumbscrew is parallel to the pipe in this case, it has a very small profile and would be very similar to it not being there at all.
