• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Airhawk Pad for Passenger

I'm interested in purchasing an Airhawk seat pad for my wife to use on our RT. None of the sizes listed on the Airhawk website seem likely to fit the RT rear seat well. Has anyone tried an Airhawk for the passenger and if so what size?

There are several favorable comments about the Airhawk on these forums and I was impressed with the #1 rating in the comparison test in Motorcycle Cruiser. The stock seat is fine for me but my wife could use some help in this regard.

Thanks.

Mike

Have Air Hawk that I will sell

I have a medium cruiser Airhawk that is about 1 year old. It is the heavy duty one not the light weight Airhawk 2. Works great, but found that I do not need it since I went to a Kontour seat. Thinking about putting it on EBay when it gets warmer. This is not the passenger pillion cushion but the one designed for the main seat. I used it on my VT1100 Shadow before I got the Spyder. PM me if you are interested.

we use the 11X9 passenger pillion pad for rear and 14x14 med cruiser pad for front.

the 14x14 is perfect fit ... the 11x9 laid crosswise works ok just not shaped for the rounded portion near the rear area of the passenger seat.

if you want I hear they will make a custom one for you but it will be $$$$.

I love the airhawks. so far its made it so I do not need to upgrade seat to Corbin... go with the original airhawk as its much better quality.

Got them originally for the Harley and picked up the 14X14 for the Spyder so now own 3 Airhawk pads!

I got the Corbin heated seat and love it , but I found the stock seat about the most comfortable seat I ever sat on .
