There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Airbag Vest Saves Can Am Rider In T-Bone Accident

Thanks for producing these!

(1) how much is the discount?
(2) any women's jackets? I'm like 5'5" 115 lbs and don't think the men's ones will fit

Hi! The discount is good for 10% and one free demo cartridge($25). We are working on a women's leather jacket that should be out next year, but the vests outsell the jackets by far. A rider has more versatility with a vest, and it is comfortable in any temperature.

Most women under 135 lbs. fit into a small vest. The vest weighs about 3 lbs, and is available in black or hi-viz yellow.

Thanks!
Nichole

Hi SpyderLovers! Just wanted to jump on here to answer any questions you may have about Helite. There is a lot of information to learn about when choosing which airbag system is best for your ride.

Also, since there is a lot of member interest for airbag protection, I created a discount code you can use at helitemoto.com. Enter code SPYDER at checkout.

Thanks for sharing!

Great now you tell me. I just ordered one fro Rezalla. Oh well my lose... but others will benefit.

To be honest I think you saved more with ordering it from Revzilla because we would have had to charge sales tax which is 9.5%, plus you get RevZilla bucks which is a nice perk.

Thank you for your order!

Jim's interview of what happened in the accident

We found the news interview of Jim, the rider that was thrown off his bike.

You can watch it HERE

I bought the vest but don't know where to anchor the tether. Called Helite and they didn't have an answer. Do you know?

Does anyone have a picture of the configuration under the seat on their can-am? It would help us determine a good location for the tether. Thank you!

Nichole, First I want to thank you creating a discount code for us. Next a question. If the airbag is inflated can it be reused? Or do you need to buy a new vest/ jacket?
Thanks Jeff

The biggest problem I see is forgetting to disconnect the tether and accidentally setting it off. nojoke

Hi Jeff,

The vests and jackets can be used over and over again. You can reset the system yourself in about 5 minutes with a new CO2 cartridge for $25.

It takes 60lbs. to pull the tether so even if you forget to unclip it is extremely difficult to activate accidently.

We don't recommend installing the tether at the handlebar because of the length of time it would take for the tether to trigger in an accident when the rider high-sides over the front of the bike.

When is a pill worth a $100? --- when it works!
It amazes me how some riders don't mind paying tens of thousands of dollars to get the ride they want, but to spend a few hundred dollars on some equipment that can save their life, or pain and suffering to their love ones, they find it, to stiff!

Glad this rider is not one of those! Glad he put his pride and coolness to the side and wore this equipment! now everyone sees how smart he is!:clap:
Don't get upset with me! just expressing my opinion!
Have a blessed evening!

Shouldn't the company come out with the proper location for the tether. I spent 600+ dollars that wont be worth anything if it is not usable on a Spyder. Sorry to wine but I have 30 days to return it if there isn't a solution for where to tie up.

Sorry... there are a lot of bikes out there. Also, we have sold many to Spyder riders and no one has ever called with an issue mounting the tether. If you could please take a picture under the seat it would help us out a lot to find tether placement for you.
