• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air Filter

Rarely do folks keep vehicles fitted with K&N air filters long enough for any symptoms of dusting to become evident as it's a long term, cumulative effect. But they certainly let more air thru and more of whatever's in it. Performance seekers aren't seeking longevity, so that's ok - their choice, their vehicle as you say.

I installed a K&N Air Filter on my ST1300 and put over 80,000 miles on it afterwards. No evidence of excessive wear, no oil smoke or use of oil. I'll buy another K&N!!!

I installed a K&N Air Filter while changing the oil. Made a trip to Salem 2-up yesterday. The RT-S seemed to have more power and response, and I got better mileage. No dyno facts to back it up, but that was my impression.
