• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

aftermarket tire pressures

Hey guys, got a quick question. I replaced my OEM front tires with the Bridgestone Potenza's. What tire pressures are others of you running. I find that when running at recommended pressures, the ride is stiff. Also, did you make a shock adjustment after installing them. Thanks for the assist. :doorag:

I also ran Potenzas on my 2012 RT and ran them successfully at 22psi. Great tire and no problems. Also had Elka shocks on the front of my RT.

Do you need to keep the Potenzas within the factory spec of ± 0.25 psig between the two front tires? The only way I found to do that is with the Dual Fill that I make.

won't diagnose the front end.

Just picked up the 2012 RT-S from the dealership. Had a few things done. Asked when I dropped off if I could have them check the front end as I have a mild shimmy when over 45-50. Had a bad wobble at 42-45 mph but that went away after getting rid of the OEM tires. The Bridgestones I put on are new and high speed balanced. Shop guys said they can't do any front end checks as I have aftermarket tires on. :yikes: Does anyone know of a laser alignment business in the Phoenix area or when one might be coming. Thanks all.

Car tires..!!

Because they were designed and rated for cars with much more weight than a roadster you will feel a change. If they have more ply's they will give less. Handling will be different as well. If touring may be less noticeable. I prefer to use motorcycle tires and glad to see vee-arachnid has hit the market giving us a choice. I know there are a lot of car tires that fit and are in use and loved by those that have them. Jmo..
