• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After topcase removal, can I keep the antenna?

so i just bought a F3 limited.. i am also going to purchase the cover needed after the topcase is removed.. can the antenna then be mounted to the cover,, thanks..

I am sure you can work it out. The antenna does have a plug-in under the seat. I think they put Loctite on the attacking nut as I had a heck of a time getting it off of mine.

An alternative is plugging in an aftermarket shorty antenna to the under-seat junction. this would be easier to place and not distract from your new setup.

Never had an F3 but the F3T looks like it has the antenna mounted between the left saddlebag and that cover. Could be BuRP sells something to mount the Limited antenna there if you remove the top case.

As I was taking everything apart I noticed the OEM antenna will fit under the rear panel & passenger seat. I put a powered amplified antenna in the dash, because I put a CB antenna on the rear trunk, in original location.

Two screws. Backrest is part of the top case. All comes off together. We replaced the antenna with a wire antenna from Amazon.
