• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After market seat

+1 for Ultimate. They are in Destination Daytona. Go see Dez, he has a Spyder with the tallboy seat you can try plus they offer a ride guarantee on stock seats.

Is there an aftermarket seat that allows taller folks seat back further and still have a back rest?

My husband has the Ultimate Tall Boy seat and backrest on his RT along with the Tri Axis handlebars. Below is information copied from the Ultimate web site that describes the seat and what it does for the rider.

Our Ultimate Tall Boy Spyder RT is designed to sit you at the same height as the stock seat and one and a half inches further back from the handlebars. If you feel too cramped with your stock seating position, our Ultimate Tall Boy seat will help.

Have a good long look at Russell Day Long. They are more expensive as you have to supply them with a seat (either your own or a second hand one from eBay), but they will make the seat to fit your exact specifications based on photos you take and your riding requirements. Corbin, Ultimate and Mustang are all good seats, but if they don't work for you, you have to return them and start again. Russell will rework their seat if it doesn't work for you up front (rare), until it gives you all day comfort.

:agree: I have my 3rd Russel Day-Long going on next week. I have tried Corbin and Mustang and spent a few hour on a Ultimate and NOTHING compares to the Russel Day-long and there service

That review was amazing thank you for that effort.

Thank you.

I felt like I was in the same boat as many others on here with the general advice: "just go to a meeting and try out different seats!" Unfortunately, I do not have that luxury.

Don't Talk the Talk

Like I posted in #9 post Russell Day long just returned form A ride-in and this is what I returned home with. FYI I am 6'4" they made the seat to fit me

Does anyone have a number for the BRP comfort seats? In their catalog all I see is the "vinyl/leather coast to coast seat" and the cannonball seat.

I have an f3 s and looking for an extra few inches before my tailbone hits the seat ledge.

The BRP Comfort seat sits you back about 2.5 inches. OEM Backrests work with the seat.
