There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One don't you get one of the shorty windshields off the RTS-S? Pampurrs has one she is trying to unload. I've got one but I'm still thinking about putting it on my Spyder.

You could do like Fonsie did on Happy Days and remove the front fenders. Possibly leave the brackets and wiring in place to blend in with the windshield removal.
I have never seen a "chopped" Spyder so possibly you could start a new trend to see what can be bolted off. De-farkleing could start a whole new trend.:barf:

I also thought about removing the windshield since the dashboard is pretty big. Decided not to in case a ton of bugs and dirt got into the holes where the windshield adjustment brackets are. Gonna go with the shorty windshield instead.

After you've put some miles on it: please let us know if these changes have improved the fuel mileage any... :thumbup:
You should also probably have run it down a quarter-mile track, and kept all of the timing slips. By removing the windshield; the air rushing past you always makes it seem as if the bike is running faster...

It all looks good! If you change your mind about the windshield, I have a brand new shorty one for sale that was made for a RT-S that was never installed on my Spyder. Cheap! Woody
