Advice on covers

Thinking about a couple half covers for 2015 RTs on extended ride next summer, including Quebec in June . Don't really see the advantage over full covers other than packing size and weight. What say you riding veterans? Any views on particular products.

All depends what ya need it to do I suppose. I went with an UltraGard full cover for full protection, and to keep folks from getting the itch to sit on it. I like a dry seat in the morning too.

I'm using the BRP half cover on my 2013RT. Lowering the windshield makes it easier to put on. works great for me.

I use a half cover. Easy to put on and take off during lunch and at night. Also a lot easier to dry off when packing up.

I've got a half cover for work to keep folks off of it. I use a full cover during the winter when I have to put it to "bed" during the snowy stuff--also yo keep it cleaner in the garage during that time.

I have the brp half cover for traveling.Packs up small and light.Keeps the seat and dash dry for the next day's ride and idiots off it.

The ultra full cover is lightweight. Had to resew antenna opening. Also, cover is not very rain proof. Calling to see if any remedies.

lightweight cover

/Bought on Amazon: Can Am RT touring cover from Formosa Covers. It came and I love it, fits back into storage bag that I can store in frunk. Lightweight compared to BRP Full cover. I personally like to keep my Spyder fully covered especially when traveling, $50 plus shipping. No problem with returns if you don't like it. Also have holes in rear for right and left antenna options.

For travelling: BRP's half-cover does a really nice job! :thumbup:
I keep their full-cover around, for when outdoor storage;might become a reality... :shocked:

I have/use the BRP 1/2 cover, it has its own carrying bag. It fits nicely in the frunk.

It fits nice an snug on my 2014RTS-SE6.
