• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jim builds fine product & knows his stuff i have the back rest & 100%happy with it. His other products gotta be the same. Number of other vibration relief products, grip buddies & grip puppies are out there if you like. Let us know what you find that works.

Works for me...

most any bike shop will carry a variety of bar ends. Have been using them for years on various bikes. They have helped me ...:thumbup:the shorty heavier ones work best....

I haven't noticed much vibration, but then I have only had my Spyder less than 2 months, longest ride was just over 100 miles. I have installed a set of Grip Buddies, they make my hands more comfortable, I also had them on my previous bike. Well spent $30 for me.

Does the ST have heated grips? I have quite a bit of arthritis in my hands and used to TricLine grip covers (foam covers) because I didn't want to cut off my heated grips. They greatly reduce vibration. If I had no heated grips, I would cut off the hard stock grips and use Grab-On foam grips. They last for a season or so and are made out of foam. Razor knife old grip, a bit of hair spray sloshed in the grips and just slide them on. They are the softest grips I know and not prone to slipping if you sweat or in the rain. They only cost about $5 a set so I consider them expendable supplies.

The ST Limited has heated grips and AM/FM radio and a Garmin GPS and hard bags. Mine is a ST-S with the semi-automatic, which gets rider floor boards and passenger floor boards.
Grip Buddies are neoprene and are applied on the stock grips. They are supposed to work with heated grips according to the manufacturer. I have not found them to be slippery when wet. The surface is textured, not smooth and they are not hard. Web site for Grip Buddies --> www.pirateslair.com
