Adjustable Handlebars ...

I've ordered the adjustable handlebars for my 2012 RT-S and they're due to arrive at my Can-Am dealership in August. How many of you have them installed and think they're great? I'm beginning to second guess myself on the purchase.

Those that have them seem to like them a lot. I do not believe I have heard any negative comments about them other than the cost.

Please don't second guess yourself. Sure they're expensive when you include the labor costs, but I think you'll be well pleased with your purchase. I feel so much better riding with them and I think you will, too.

Why delivery in August? Amazon shows them in stock at a pretty good price with 2nd day air shipping.....

When I rode all day I used to get stiff muscles in my neck and shoulder blade area from not having the proper distance from the bars and me. Now that I have the adjustable bars I have them in a perfect location (closer to me) and I don't have that problem any more. I asked my servicing dealer if he would match Amazon's price and he did ! I'm very happy I had them installed !

I have them and I also have the Comfort Seat and I am pretty sure that without the handlebars I would have had a hard time. On my old Spyders, with just the stock seat, I would sometimes get shoulder pain after a long day of riding and I don't get that now with the Tri Axis bars. My only wish is that they could be adjusted just a little more.

I understand your quandary as I'm going through the same thing. With my new RT, my body is more upright than on my old GS which is great, however my arms seem to be up higher and more spread out. It's a lot of $$$ on one hand, but if riding comfort is vastly improved then it's well worth it. My RT is in the shop for some warranty work, so I decided to take the plunge and get the Tri Axis bars installed while it was there - excited!!!!!!

RT GPS & Tri Axis

Just a quick follow up question - will the stock RT Limited GPS mount attach to the tri axis bars or do you need a different GPS mount?

I had them installed on my 2011. I loved them. With my Seal Floorboards, an AirHawk seat cushion and the adjustable handle bars, I really.........

Ride in comfort,

Hi,

Glad you got a good price. What did the labor cost?

They are great!

Installed the tri axis handlebars a couple months back...love 'em. I used to have upper back and neck pain when riding long distances -- no more!!! Very happy that I did this so I can adjust them to fit me perfectly when riding.:thumbup:
