• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adjustable handlebar question

For anyone who has the new adjustable handlebars, are the 2 adjusting bolts covered by some sort of plastic or rubber cap on yours? Mine are bare and I'm thinking maybe the tech misplaced them?? Thanks.

There are two adjusting bolts, for fore and aft, showing and a third, for up and down, is sorta under the center of the bars.
At Maggie Valley, one of the RTs in the tent had the bars. You could move them fore and aft, but evidently no one knew how to make them go up and down. One of the sales guys at the tent just shrugged when I pointed out that they needed to loosen the third bolt so folks could see how much travel the bars had. He couldn't have cared less.

Actually the third one for the up and down is under a rubber cap just below the cap where the GPS mounting hole is. The question is if the 2 adjusting bolts covered with some sort of cap themselves?

No Caps

I have the new handlebars, and, unfortunately, those two side to side adjustable bolts do not come with rubber covers (my handlebars are black). Haven't found anything that can work as a 'cap' so far...

Look at rubber chair leg covers. Cut to fit. Paint them black, or chrome. Tom :trike:
