• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If / when I decide to add handlebar risers to my spyder. What should I know before I start?? Like do I need longer cables?? What risers seem to be the peoples choice?? Do they help you get you a little more traction with the back tire??Things like that.
Thanks ED

I have the ESI risers...KM has newer ones with more adjustable options, but I find the ESI risers to do the trick just fine, plus they look really good on the bike...like they belong. I'm a bit afraid of too many moving parts on anything involving steering/handlebars. Simple and well-constructed are good enough for me.

I had the dealership put my risers on as I didn't want to cut my own handlebars...the actual install isn't too bad, but I'm a sissy with certain mods.

I will say that the risers make a huge difference. Once you have them set up, you're good to go...they lock in very well and there's really no chance of them slipping while you're riding...this is obviously very important!

I know people here like both products, so you have a couple of options. I went with ESI some time ago and have been riding more comfortably since...

I put on the ESI 3'' risers, the cables are long enough even if you go with the 4'' The risers let you ride in an upright position. Also they seem to give you a little more leverage when turning the bars.:2thumbs: As far as Traction go's in a word '' NOPE ''

GOOD DEAL!!:D Thats what I was hoping for Thanks for the replies
Ed Really don't think much will help with traction these guys are just to powerful for the set up to have a good take off.
