There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Adding Eastern Beaver accessory fuse box

I am looking to add the Eastern Beaver PC 8 to my 2010 RTS. I have been chatting with Scotty and the issue is where exactly to mount this unit. I would be interested to hear from those of you that have added accessory fuse boxes to the RT and where you were able to mount them successfully. I would like to mock up the location so I can purchase the correct length lead and battery wire lengths. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at FuzeBlock. Much simpler wiring because the relay is built-in as are the diodes. I purchased the FuzeBlock here www.cyclenutz.com and I purchased all the wiring I needed from Eastern Beaver. The FuzeBlock uses a lot less wiring/connections. Also check out www.FuzeBlock.com. Lots of info.

Very cool... one con is that if the relay goes, you have to replace the entire unit.... Fuzeblock only supports a max of 10 amps per circuit. -That is only 120 watts which is enough for most needs, but not all.

One very cool thing about the Fuze block is the built in diodes for protecting the Canbus.

With the Eastern Beaver, you replace a $5-$10 relay... of which I carry a spare.

That said, that FuzeBlock is really nice for those that have very limited space to work with and still want to consolidate everything into one bus/controller and don't need more than 10 amps per circuit. I'm pretty impressed by it... Thanks for sharing that link!

Thanks Cougar, like that you can go from switched to unswitched. Where did you mount yours? RS or RT?

I have a 2010 RTS. Waiting on Eastern Beaver wiring kit to arrive. He sells one made specifically for the FuzeBlock in varying lengths. I will mount it either under the seat or behind the front gauge panel. I ordered the longest (60") kit available since difference in cost was peanuts. I will cut it to length when I install it. 60" will allow you to mount it anywhere.
