• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adding BRP fog lights on RT

I have a customer who wants BRP fog lights (219400137) added to his RT A&C. His dealer said it can't be done, but the BRP catalog says it can. Has anyone done it? Thank you in advance.

The dealer needs to be referred to page 36 of the parts and accessories catalog. It certainly can be done, or they would sell and advertise the part for this use. I am not sure that I completely buy the "easy installation" description in the catalog...there is a lot of bodywork to be removed. With any luck, the foglight kit comes with instructions, which should be available to the dealer on BossWeb.

BRP lights

I have had the BRP fog lights put on my 5 speed by the dealer. I had it done for no charge as part of the purchase so I don't know what the actual price of installation would be.

I bought the BRP fog lights from the catalog and my local dealer installed them just last month. They charged me 1.5 hours of labor.

My dealer told me it can be done, but if anything happens it voids the fog lights warranty. He cut me a good deal (since I bought the trailer+hitch the same day). He (the owner) did not say this about the fog lights but because I asked him about the back speakers. I figured that it is less painful to void the warranty on $500 rather than $149.

BTW I installed the back speakers myself... Well worth it... found out things about my Gray Recluse!
