There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Praise report for Kathy 9/25 - I did not go up today. I felt that I needed to give Kathy's children as much time with her as they could have. So I am sure that went well. I have verified with her MD's that we will start at 12 noon tomorrow. If possible, we will come to you live on here as we do her healing and going home prayer. Got to give her a chance to say goodbye to all of her friends. She may of may not have much motor skill so she may not be able to do her customary thumbs up, and if that is the case, we will try for a smile and a nod. Kathy cannot Thank you each enough for the prayers, beautiful cards, the shawls, beautiful quilts, and blankets. One of her good friends even sent her a favorite bracelet. You know some of the less understanding folks would think of this outcome as a failure; that God let her down. That is not true. As Christians we are charged to pray for something as if it was. That doesn't mean what we pray for will be granted. It depends if it works into HIS master plan. You see, we only are able to view a very small part of GOD's PLAN. Someone gave me the best explanation of that I have ever heard and I will now give it to you. I encourage you to share it also.
God's plan is a large picture on a wall and we are standing so close to it that our nose is touching it. From that position, we can only see a very small part of the overall picture. That is why we should not despair when a prayer is not granted. We need to Believe that God, Our Father is good and has our best interests in His heart for us. That is where our faith comes in. I don't need to see that Kathy will go to Heaven. I know she will.
Please join us tomorrow at 12 noon (Indiana Time) as we say our final goodbye. The funeral will be at Jewell Ritman Funeral Home here in Columbus on Monday, October 1. Family calling will be from 10AM to 11:30AM and Friends Calling will be from 11:30AM to 1:00PM, when the funeral will start. Kathy will have her favorite Pastor Jerry Ballard from 7th Street Church of God officiating. In the event there is a rein delay (God's Spiritual Rein) pouring down and healing Kathy, we will modify the above schedule accordingly. I believe just as equally that God will receive Kathy into Heaven or heal her completely so that she astounds the doctors and nurse as she walks out of the place. Regardless of her outcome I will continue to praise His Holy Name. Please pray with me that God's Will be done!!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Words means little in situations like this, but prayers mean a lot.

Doc,

May the Lord be with you and Kathy. She was a lovely lady, I enjoyed speaking to her at a couple of past rallies. You have our deepest sympathy and condolences.

Doc I'm so sorry for your loss.
May you find peace in knowing that you helped make Kathy's transition a little easier.
God Bless!

Doc
Most of us will never have to face what you have in the last few months
Kathy was lucky to have you carry out her wishes although not an easy decision to make your faith, Love and devotion to Kathy has been evident in all your posts
Keep strong as you come to terms with your loss
I have only dealt with you as a buyer from the UK but have nothing but adminration for showing us all how life can have unexpected turns but there is a way forward
Condolences to you, your family & friends

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Stay strong Doc.
A tremendous amount of courage was shown by all involved in the process. Makes me sad nevertheless.

I'm so very sorry, Doc. May peace finally replace the battle you both fought so valiantly. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

My condolences to you, Doc. I'm sure Kathy thanks you for abiding by her wishes.
Love and hugs to you.

In my physical, I am sad, but in my Spirit, IN MY SPIRIT, I AM HAPPY THAT SHE IS NOW FREE!
Her body was bruised and broken and we tried for so very long to her to get better, but it seemed she would take one step forward and then two back. I had a RN tell me that she probably would die, but I didn't believe him. Wondering if he was an angel preparing me for this?? Who knows?
After she had the seizures and they told us the massive extent of the damage, I knew that she wouldn't want to live like that. No way! Especially since the very thing she was so afraid of had come to pass.
I feel honored that God chose me to be her advocate against those wanting to keep her alive. There selfish actions have caused me to kick the dust off of my sandals and get away from them.

And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”

Okay, we have listened, we have have commiserated and some have prayed. I think it's time to move on because this is seriously religious and has no place on this forum, if I correctly understand the rules.nojoke
