• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Kathy and I are both praying hard for you and your Kathy... :pray::pray:
Mine had her kidneys fail back in 2005, and was able to receive a transplant in 2006.
This story hits close to home, and we hope that her kidney function starts to bounce back soon! :thumbup:
In the meantime: the dialysis will take the strain off of the kidneys, and give them a chance to heal...
 
Lifting Kathy, Doc, and her caregivers up in prayer many times each day. Praying specifically for recovering kidney functions, for healing wounds, and for strength, strength, strength for both Kathy and Doc.
 
7/23 Update

She had a rough weekend. There is a balancing act with someone with the injuries Kathy has when they do dialysis. Good chance of her blood pressure dropping, and it did last night. They corrected it with medication and then her heart started spiking due to the sepsis. Her pneumonia is still her main problem. The main MD was in a little while ago and said she had one the worst cases of pneumonia that he has seen. In a normal ex ray pneumonia will show as a white mass. In Kathy's it shows little pockets of puss that are collected in her lungs. Urine output is low to non existent. She is now on 10 hour series of dyalisis to remove fluid from her body. She may have responded a little to her daughter today, but she does not acknowledge us or any voice commands given. Please pray specially to rid her of this nasty pneumonia, fully restore her kidney function, and to wake up so that she will respond.

Doc, I don't know you or Kathy, but my wife and I both ryde and I can't imagine the pain YOU are in. You are helpless to help the one you would give your life for, and all you can do is pray and wait! It could happen to anyone of us, and I am sorry that it it happening to you and Kathy. Remember to take care of yourself, as you will need your strength to take care of her WHEN she starts her recovery! Annette and I have you in our hearts and pray for improved Kidney function, banish the pneumonia, and a return of consciousness for Kathy!:pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:!
 
Haven't been on the forum for a while. So sorry to hear about Kathy. Praying for God to intervene quickly. Whether He touches her personally or directs the doctors, I am praying for His intervention!
 
7/24 Update


Tiffanie Edwards - daughter

Mom opened her eyes and looked at me !!!!!!!!!!!!! Twice!
I started bawling and praising God!
Vent O2 is at 50% ...her oxygen levels are at 97 %.
They took off over 3 liters of fluid last night. They will do dialysis again later today to clean her blood again.
She just opened her eyes again and wiggled her toes and tried to stick out her tongue as the nurse requested. She even slightly shook her head no when she asked her something. YAY!!! God is sooooo AWESOME! !
KEEP PRAYING!!!
Keep praying, Saints!!! God is moving!
