• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Accessory terminal connection??

There is an "un-switched terminal" for accessories located under the service cover inside the storage compartment. It is plugged into a blank white block and has violet/orange and black wires.

My question is how do I connect to the plug? I have unplugged the connector from the white block. I then took the white block, which I think is the accessory end of the connector, to three parts stores and they have never seen one. My next stop is back to the dealer.

Is this a standard connector I can buy somewhere? :hun: I want to connect my GPS to it.

Thanks
Dave

There has been some question as to whether these wires for the 12 volt accessory terminal are actually energized when a fuse is placed into the "unswitched accessory" position in the fusebox. You may wish to test first. They are energized with the ignition if there is a fuse in the "switched accessory" position of the fusebox. I used these wires to switch my auxillary fuse block.

This terminal is made to plug directly into the back of the 12 volt accessory outlet sold by BRP. This is not a typical terminal configuration, and may be proprietary to BRP...or just French Canadian. It is possible that an RV dealer would recognize it. Ours was installed by the dealer, so I am not absolutely sure of the spacing, but the terminals themselves appear to be standard female spade connectors. It that is the case, any male spade connectors of the correct width should fit into the individual terminals in the plug with a bit of effort. You will just have to attach the wires individually, instead of with a mating plug. As an alternative, just snip the wires and use your own teminals. If you need further assistance, PM me and send a picture of the plug, with some idea of dimensions.
