• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got the taller windshield, tank bag, and seat bag installed this afternoon. The tank bag, in my opinion, is best suited for notions, such as sunglasses, sunblocker, small flashlight, etc. Because of the crease in the "tank" I wasn't sure that regular tank bags for basically flat tanks would work as well. I didn't get the front tankbag bracket to fit over the rubber sealing flange. My tankbag installation instructions made no mention of the rubber sealing flange and it is not pictured in the instructions that came with the bag. Before trimming the rubber flange I thought I would wait and hear from others who might have completed the tankbag installation. How did your installation go for you? The rear of the tankbag is secured by a tab that slides underneath a trim piece. Actually a simple installation other than the rubber flange.
The rear seat bag appears to be well made, though it will not hold a full coverage helmet. There are other options for helmets, such as the front trunk (if empty), a padlock, or a bar end helmet lock.
The tall windshield puts the wind up higher, though there is still plenty of air circulating around for those hot days. The stock windshield has a curl in the upper lip that does a surprisingly good job. The touring windshield does not have this curl but uses additional height to direct the air even higher. I am 5'11'' with a 32 inch inseam and the wind seems to hit at about the top of my helmet. I have a luggage rack back ordered (very pricey), so I hope that the quality is really superb.

How easy is it to swap the windshield on the spyder? I have had a touring windshield as well as the stock one, on the way, I was kinda curious to know what kinda time that would take and how much has to come apart. I've never actually seen one in person to know for sure.
