• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Acceptable front tire width

I have never seen nor heard of another similar long drawn out procedure for checking the oil level or tire pressure on amy other vehicle. BRP must have a "Joke Staff Dept". Most creative procedule gets another paid holiday. Remeber when we parked the vehicle--waited a few minutes & then checked the oil level--as in a gas station fuel fill up, OR checking the tire pressure when the tires were cold???
Darrell

That ain't no :cus:! I just do cold tire checks on my RSS, and will do like wise on the F 3 S when it gets here. That oil check dog and pony show? BRP and Rotax both need a thorough slapping and that ain't nojoke! And what's up with the cartridge oil filter instead of a screw on (at least on the 998 V twin--not sure what's on the 1330 inline yet)??!!!

VREDESTEIN In Canada

BK great suggestion, if I could find these tires in Canada🤬 I can find 175/55 R15 but not the OEM size. In fact I can’t seem to find almost any options in the OEM size but at least a few in the larger size

QUOTE=BLUEKNIGHT911;1364000]IMHO - (:roflblack:) ..... look at the VREDESTEIN line of tires the Quatrac 5 model - it's available in perfect sizes for ALL Spyders - 14 and 15 inch rims ..... plus they may be the Highest rated tire made to-day for Spyders ....... We install Yokohama 175/55R15s and it requires no changes to the bike. They fit all 3 fender styles in OEM configuration. They fit and perform perfectly. Very smooth and great handling tire.

This is an epic revelation for me, I have spent 3 days searching for tyres for my F3 (the one with the old style mudguards). So now I can redo my search and hopefully find something that someone stocks over here!!,

BTW anyone heard of Linglong tyres, they seem to get good reviews on car sites, with good wet weather reviews, even better than Bridgestone Potenza and Federal EVOs..

I got me a friggin puncture in the sidewall, so I'm gonna replace both.... Bugger!!
