There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Some of them can be pretty hard to understand. Throw in some of the local slang for stuff, and then...Good luck. :bowdown::bowdown:

Back in the 70's a woman author was trouring the US to look for info for a book on the different accents by area.
I live in the Portland, OR area. She said that here, we seem to have the missing 'g.' We say things like: movin' / goin'
Also, as part of her studies she said that the area that I lived in then was the Volvo & mink coat area. We did drive a Volvo then but I very well know that we could not afford a mink coat.

PS) I've been to 46 of the 50 states and, yes, some areas have accents that are a little hard to understand. And don't get me started on local slang. Ever know what 'Monday week' means?

Siri also has a problem understanding Texan, or maybe it's my mix of accents because I'm not Texan by birth and I've pickup bits of accents from everywhere I've lived.
I told a gentleman on the phone I was having trouble understanding him because of his accent (Irish), he told me he didn't have an accent but I did.
