Also note the new placement of my license plate and Brian also added a light in the bracket for me. I am actually legal now...

That is a great setup. Very nice work. The "new" bar does look nicer than the original for sure. Traveling on extended trips should NOT be a problem now! :2thumbs:

My Kewlmetal rear rack was waiting for me when I got home from work last night. This morning, I started taking off the bottom pan and the tail piece before work this morning. I will take the rest apart tonight so the Brian can install the rack tomorrow for me. Then he is going to make a sissy bar for me as well. This will allow me to carry more luggage than I currently carry. Since Spyderfest is a week long, the extra space will be nice and taking a tent to Maggie Valley, the extra space will be much appreciated. I will post photos when we are all finished. I am so excited. :2thumbs: I love my husband.

It worked out great! Except that the cheap sissybar bags I bought were not waterproof and the "waterproof" cover wasn't either...LOL I really like the bar, it is nice for many uses. I could even buy a pad for it and it could almost be a back rest too. It is nice for securing things too as well.
