A Weird One With My Grips

I have a 21 RT Limited. I pulled the grips to install the BRP adjustable handlebar riser. Piece of cake. Nice option. When I re-installed the grips and tightened them properly, I found they both turn, just slightly, perhaps a quarter inch. They do not seem loose and they stop firmly when I roll the grip forward or backwards - but they do turn. I just can't remember if they did that before I removed them? Did I do something wrong?! I replaced my grips ( 14 RT ) a long time ago.... there is some play in both, I think it's normal ..... Mike :thumbup:
