• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A question on the air adjustable shock

My 1 month old RT SS (3100 miles!) has the adjustable spring set to the softest setting. Since its been raining here I cannot try this currently, but when a firmer setting is selected-like the top two firmnesses-does the handling improve as well? Can I take corners faster with less lean? Just askin...

Thanks. This forum and all the insightful discussions from owners is really helpful.

Actually, the air-adjustable rear suspension is used more to adjust your ride height.
The stiffening of the suspension, is how it accomplishes that... and it's more of a welcome side-effect.
Highwayman is right; the front suspension is where the key is to better handling!
One of BajaRon's Anti-SwayBars is a good start; followed by some preload adjusters (The cheaper way), or a new set of shocks (The not-so cheaper way)

Installed new sway bar and Fox Podium shocks on 2015RT SE6 and got a laser alignment done. The sopyder now goes around the corners likes its on rails and I can take the corners a little faster with a lot less body roll.
To me it doers not matter what the rear air ride setting it set to. I also keep the air pressure in tires set to 20PSI front tires and 25 PSI rear tires.

When riding 2 up what the most comfortable shock setting for the passanger
Trial and error.
You need to try different adjustments while on the road and get feedback for the passenger.
The adjustment that is good for one may NOT be good for another.

And how much did those parts cost, including installation, to your already costly bike?

How much is a good ride worth? Start with the BajaRon Sway Bar, if you can't install it yourself your dealer will probably do it for you. Bar and links $287 plus labor 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
