• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A new use for your Spyder if need be.

I haven't been able to sell my 2011 RSS, and I didn't want to leave it outside. When I got the RSS I built a garage for it but screwed up and it was about 5" to short to park straight in, so I needed to park it at an angle and the 2014 also. So I decided the cheapest fix was to extend the front 2'. Will give me lots of room and I can park both bikes side by side and when I sell it and my GF buys an RT, we can also park them in the garage.

I designed the remodel so that I could pull the old front wall forward 2'. As usual the roof was too much weight on the wall to just push it or beat it forward, so thought what the heck, use the Spyder to break it loose. It worked fine, of course there were other problems but while not finished, the front wall is done and the garage door reinstalled.

so, you build a garage specially for your Spyder , and it is TOO SHORT.
obviously never heard that expression "measure twice....cut once.
At least you can't sue yourself.

Dammit that's exactly what I was going to say! :joke:

I bought a new 1999 Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel powered, long bed pickup and my friend liked it so much, the next day he went down and bought an identical one. When he took it home and tried to park it in his garage, it was a foot too long! He ended up knocking the wall out in front of the pickup, framed it, replastered and painted it.:yikes:

Stuff happens!

Sam:rolleyes:

Yes, it was a stupid mistake, but poop does happen. I just parked it at an angle so no big deal, however parking 2 of them made it an issue. It's about done. a little more trim and maybe some paint and its bigger and better.:banghead:

Update

The new longer garage is finished.
