A NEW RECORD FOR COLD

If you think it's cold where you are ...... Mt. Washington in New Hampshire ( 6000 + ft. ) had a new record low today 1/6/17. It was 100 degree's ....BELOW zero ..... and this was actual air Temp. ....not wind chill factor .....:yikes:..... at that temp I think spit will freeze before it hits the ground ..... Yeah, I heard that some old geezer threw a bucket of hot water outside. It froze so fast the ice was still warm!! :roflblack:

Saw that Mt. Washington piece. That is really, really cold. Since I used to live in Duluth, MN, I have been watching that when they show the low temps. Saw minus 41 the other day. Back in the 60's it was regular for the first week in January to be in the minus 40's. Not of recent vintage though. That is so cold it feels like you can cut it with a knife. When I went back to live there in the 80's-90's, it never got that cold.

Glad that we are not experiencing that cold snap--at the moment anyway. :yes:
