• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A LIGHT WENT OFF IN MY HEAD

I'm pretty sure that you can have side marker lights in every state of the union.
But that would mean yellow up front and red at the back.
So if the Sylvania dots came in yellow you might get away with it.
All in all it would be better to find a way to put lights where the reflectors are.
They do make red and yellow lights. By the way your not a boat captain?

Please don't say this unless you look at each state law...we have to find that thread, but in MD, you can't have any lights attached to your wheels...

That's why I mentioned side marker lights, you know where our reflectors currently are.
And that you might, and I stress might, get away with the wheel dots if they were yellow.

Has anyone considered electroluminescent panels for the marker lights? Flat and they could fit behind the reflectors.

You found it and I was just getting ready to repost it http://www.wykedilluzionz.com/laws/ It may not be a perfect list but it is a good start for folks to dig further on their own.
Ok so after reading a few of the post here I phoned the Pa. State Police ..Spoke to the Vehicle Fraud Issues Dept. and Im waiting to speak with the supervisor on Monday ...will keep you posted ... they said, what I have done so far with the mods did not violate any Pa. laws. but they will check into it further... said as long as the Leds are not over bearing, should not be a problem

The Stock Spyder running lights on the fenders are white. I changed mine to Amber.

Gotcha...I'd have to read the darn MD restrictions again, but that might just fly!
