There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Worse than a little kid on Christmas morning. Waiting till daylight to head across the Gap. Lets see how the RT does compared to my 09 RS. Gonna run the Skyway, a trip or 2 thru the Dragon and then a trip over to Smith Powersports for a visit. Any locals gonna be out today?:dontknow::dontknow:

Have fun and let us know how the ryde went :2thumbs:

I am in Arkansas this weekend :D
Getting ready for a group ryde myself this morning.
I was told it's a long one (many miles) with many curves :yikes:

94 degrees today!

Looking forward to your comments about your day's ride. Wish I could be there with you enjoying the twisties! Take care my friend.

Awesome 240 miles today, with 3 trips up and back at the Gap. Ran over to Highlands and then down thru Georgia. No Spyders in sight. Lots of sport and cruiser bikes though. Gotta get the Evoluzione sway bar though. Pushed her pretty hard and the Nanny didnt like it. Tomorrow will be Clingmans Dome and then the Cherohola Skyway.

Sounds like a great day of ryding, and I hope tomorrow is more of the same for you.

Sounds like you had a great ryde :2thumbs:

We went on a 100 mile ryde today in 94 degree weather (came back toasted). Lots, and lots of twisties. Country side was very beautiful. Lots of bikes out there, but again no other spyder in sight :(

Home we go tomorrow, and in 4-days on the road again (we are not trailering) :2thumbs:

Have a good time, enjoy your ryde and ryde safe, see you on friday :D

A little update

So, I'm sitting at the Dragon store, eating Dragon Bites and I hear the people at the table next to me. 2 People on a newer Harley cruiser and 2 single Harley riders. The guys wife is talking about the Spyder and I hear him tell her not to get one because you cant enjoy the corners and since they just moved to NC, thats all there is. Well, I waited to pull out just after them and followed them thru the Dragon to the overlook, staying right behind them. At the overlook, they came and the questions started. " How easy is it to turn?, Whats the cost fully loaded?, Is it comfortable?. Well, I could not resist so I gave her a ride on the back and we followed them half way back to the store. One nice little straight and around them i went. We were at the store probably 4 minutes before her husband pulled in. Now the questions got more direct and I think she will have a Spyder real soon. It was real great when she said " too bad he doesnt live near us because the ride on his Spyder is way more comfortable than your Harley.:D:D:D

64 this morning. Heading out for a 4 state run. NC, SC, Georgia and Tenn.
Then a stop by Smith Powersports in Georgia for a friendly visit and to check on this oil leak that I developed after my last oil change. I think they used the same gaskets instead of using new ones. Not real happy about that.:mad::mad:

Took a little break today from ryding. Over 250 miles with no problems and no more oil leak.

Saw this at the gap. I could see me with one of these

Now that side car rig is very cool. :2thumbs:

What did they say the cause of the oil leak was?

They said most likely the o-rings were not replaced when the service was done. Got some new ones in there now. I plan on having a talk with my dealer when I get back home next month.

I hear you loud and clear on that one. Best of luck, and continued safe ryding.
