• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

600 Mile Service...WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

i had been having some intermittent problems with my 3 week old ST Limited (inconsistent idle, engine overheating light, rough shifting) but none of these things stopped me from enjoying my new ride. This morning, Elk Grove Powersports dropped off my baby at the house after her 600 mile service. The head mechanic assured me that i'd notice an improvement in performance...but the difference is night and day. She is now responsive and agile. This is how I always envisioned my Spyder handling. Not sure why I had to wait until the initial service for B.U.D.S. and the techs to dial in my machine, but i'm just happy with the end result. Kudos to the dealership for picking up, dropping off, AND leaving me a loaner :ani29: until mine was done:yes:

Wow..!!

Door to door...unheard of..glad they got you on the straight and narrow. Now you can really enjoy the ryde..!! So go out and enjoy...

Wow, that is awesome. I think most of us would be happy with just one of those services pick up, drop off or a loaner but to get all of them is outstanding. I'm glad that got your ST running right.

Service ?

This shop is top of the line, service like that in todays market Unheard of .:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::bowdown:Elk Grove Powersports.

Do you know what they did? Sounds like it is good

Service Manager said there was air in "the system" causing rough idle so they bled "the system". Additionally, they changed my ball joints for the 2nd time. Apparently they replaced mine originally with a faulty set, so had to replace again.Suspension was adjusted and aligned and i asked them to take it out and push her hard to ensure the engine overheating light didnt come on. They took it out for a 14 mile test drive (as verified by my odometer). and no overheating. She was rough at low idle, jumping from 1250 to 1500 continually...but now she idles at a constant 1400...smooth as silk.

Oh, and i have it on reliable source that they had Keebler Elves perform some of their elven magic too :roflblack:

Agreed...didn't know what i had in a dealership until reading the other posters' experiences. I believe that we will have a great working relationship for many years to come. The Service Manager even calls my bike by her name when she goes in for service...lol

Kudo's to elkgrove

They are the best at ElkGrove Powersports, I drive right past another spyder dealership just to go to ElkGrove Powersports. They have always been very good to me.

It may be that they didn't have an answer/solution to your problem until now. But regardless, there isn't a better ride to be had when your Spyder is felling good! :ohyea:

Glad to hear good news about getting the :spyder2: running good. Also glad to hear of a dealer that has gone above and beyond.

Door to door service?
I was always kind of looking forward to the 54 mile journey... each way! :2thumbs:
Glad to hear that your bike is better than ever! :congrats:
