• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

600 mile service.. How much past 600 did you go for your first service?

Looks like I will be a bit over 1,000 miles before I get my RT-S in for the initial service. On my first 2 Spyders, I took them in at around 650-700 miles, I think. I've been waiting for my other gear to show up for install, and my GPS. So; a little mileage got away from me this time.

Had so much fun ryding I didn't even notice how many miles I had on it but it was near 900 mi. before my first service.

Did mine at 599 . . . I called the dealer when I had just enough miles left to get to the dealer at 600. When I called for the appointment, I was told it would be over a month . . . unless I could come right away because there had been a cancellation . . . otherwise, I'd have probably been closer to 1200!

Let's see..!!

always let them do the first and always want to get it out of the way so for me 685. The rest I do .!!

We went slightly over 1500 miles. Put 750 miles on it the first three days. All the other :ani29:'s were at about the 1000 mile mark.

I believe in a somewhat gentle break-in and do not drive it like I stole it.

850. Dealer said it was actually better. He had seen people come in right at 600, then come back at 8-- to have belt tightened again because it was was not done stretching

Got the 600 mile service today. Was at 978 or so. Service manager said no problem. They checked it all out, did the required stuff and did the 2013-7 stabilizer bar end campaign and had to replace one of them. Rides much better now. Lot of side to side wiggle is gone. Can't say enough good about Ted's Motorcycle World in Alton, IL. Super bunch of guys and really want to take care of the customer! He carries Harley, Honda, and Can-Am products and they treat all three brand customers equally!
