• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

  • QUOTE=maxhdrm2;314062]I Did my own 600 mile service for $75 and 3 1/2 hours on a nice Saturday afternoon. There is nothing mysterious about doing an oil change. And yes I replaced every gasket and washer and filter with new ones. And yes I pulled the oil tank screen, greased the front suspension, checked the tourque on the motor mounts, front sprocket, lug nuts, lubed the reverse cable, Checked the brake resavoir, lubed the parking brake mechanizm and loosened up the drive belt some more, and probably a dozen other things that a dealer would have me believe I shouldn't or couldn't do myself. :2thumbs:[/QUOTE]

So, I'm going to vent a little bit here. Until today, this post was almost 3 years old. At that point, don't you think it's better to start a new post rather than resurrect a 3 year old post??

My first 600 mile service cost was $150.00 oil ,filter and bud check up.
at lakeside motor sport, and and they are great to work with.

600 mile checkup

I just called my dealer to schedule a 600 mile check up on my new 2014 RT-S. he told me there is no checkup at 600 anymore on the 2014 Spyder. First dealer check is at 3000 miles.
