• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm a new owner of a 2012 RT and my first service was $444.51 here in Minnesota. Dealer also had the rig for 2 days even though they first said about 3 hours and it would be ready for pickup. There are 5 dealers here in metro Minneapolis so I will be trying another dealer at next service.

mine also

Mine was also $460.00 at Mancuso powere sports in Houston Tx. Also took 2 days. I was told how lucky I am to be near a dealer with 1 of only a couple of BRP certified mechanics . I dont feel lucky

Was that the location on the SW freeway?

When it comes to dealers doing the service I was very lucky I guess. Anything I need done I just call them and at the appt time I go and it is a waiting game on site. And they let me get my hands dirty with the Spydet Tech. Happy to have them.

I would check to see some evidence of 2 things-
1- Did they Clean the oil strainer that extends into the oil tank- New Clamp?
2- Is there Grease residue on the Grease nipples they were supposed to grease?
Of course dealers charging $400 might skip these too!

You'd probably be better off if you were to call your dealer and ask them what they seem to be charging for that checkup... The dealers will charge what they can, and some might be a bit more thorough in their checkup, so the pricing might be higher for a reason...
