I just got L'il Miss Muffet home from my 6,000km Service. She actually had to get towed in because of faulty sensors (SE5 Model). Bottom line is ...What a GREAT Service team.
I called the B.E.S.T. Roadside service and a flatbed was there within half an hour, I rode the Spyder up the ramp, they strapped her down and off to the dealer about 50km away). I had scheduled service for the 6000km prior to this "adventure" and the tech checked in to service bulletins and a few things that I mentioned (Picked up from this forum). It took a couple of days for parts, they changed the oil and did the service "stuff". In the end I got:
Gearbox position sensor
Oil pressure regulator Spring
Transmission updates were done
New software
Installed Ground wire as per the Service Notice.
Shifting is noticably quicker and more "sure". Smooth acceleration
Total invoice $210 (cost of 6000km service). I paid $249 for the 1000km (600mi) service so it was right in line with expectations. Snow City (in Toronto) gets my recommendation
