• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2017 RTL 50,000 miles. What servicing is needed, besides oil change of course ? Should I have my antifreeze changed? Thanks

Air filter (easy). HCM filter (easy but use a torque wrench). Fuel filter (easy unless you have to replace hoses). And you're not going to like this but spark plugs. BajaRon can explain why.

If you don't use an Oetiker clamp on the radiator hose, use a constant torque clamp.

SpeedBleeders make changing brake fluid much easier.

Good lighting makes everything much much easier.

After hearing HD's brake recall issues, I am all about changing brake fluid every other year, and hit the brakes hard enough to kick the abs pump in monthly. She let me ride her Spyder once and I couldn't tell weather the abs was kicking in.

Read pages 125-126 of your operator's guide as they list the complete required maintenance of your Spyder. What you elect to do or have done is entirely up to you.

Operators Guide

:coffee: If you have the operator guide for your Spyder, check out the 50,000 miles section. It has all the information that you need for your services. Also this is where you can find out what oils and fluids to use.

Good Luck on Your Mission. ......
