• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just purchase a 5 year extended warranty(does not include the BRP OEM warranty) that I think is a really good deal. No deductible and coverage is better than BRP Best warranty. Repairs can be made at any motorcycle shop. $850! PM me for details if you're interested.

Do you mean any Can-Am dealer? Not all motorcycle shops have access to BUDS which it seems is almost always needed for diagnostics and repairs.

If it was a repair that didn't require BUDS such as a suspension problem you could get it fixed at any dealer that could repair it. It doesn't have to be a can am dealer.

How do you know if a problem requires BUDS? With the machine so esoteric, it seems like any one thing might affect anything else.

If you're not comfortable with the non can am dealer doing the work just move on to a can am dealer. They except it also so it is your choice. It's just another option. I know if I was on a trip to say, Yellowstone and a wheel bearing seized up I would be proud of any dealer that was close to be able to fix it. Just an example. Nothing fits every scenario.

Oh well :dontknow: I thought it was a good deal and I wanted to pass it on. So he sold you yours at that price no problem?

Yep, he honored the same price you got. He just said he hadn't expected you to "blab it all over the internet." ;)

I told him he should have know that we Spyder Lovers all talk to each other! :lecturef_smilie:
