• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speaking from experience, I couldn't agree more!

Best of Luck & Keep us informed

Just know, it may take him a few days or so for him to get into touch with you. I've found that he usually tries to get as much info from BRP & the dealers about your issue, before he makes contact, so he knows whats going on. Just know, once he does get involved, usually good things start to happen. Hoping for a good outcome for you

They may have found the fix!

Just got off the phone with my dealer. Apparently BRP has a fix coming for my repeated throttle body issues. They have to do something to the electronics in addition to the replacement or something. All above my head but they feel pretty confident that this will resolve my ongoing problems. Hopefully I'll be back to riding by next weekend!

Fixed!

BRP came through and the dealer was great. When they knew that I was going to miss a weekend of great riding weather, they let me run around on their demo Spyder to get my fix in. Although I was frustrated to have to go through this, I think that the dealer and BRP did as much as could reasonable be expected and then some. I even got a call from BRP apologizing. Hopefully this is my last trip to the dealer for a while except to by stuff.

I have had my RS since May of 2011 and it went down on me at about 300 mi. but I think it was rider error. Since then it has been faultless. I just got back from the Moonshine Lunch Run, and it rained ( some times real hard) all the way home and it didn't skip a beat. It tells me a lot about the reliability of my RS. I am well pleased with it. I hope you get your Spyder fixed soon. Ride Safe & Long.

mattman have you been going to cowtown in ft-worth if so i'm sorry i was just there for a t.b. replacement and they refused to give me the latest and greatest update i had to take it to grandbury they were most curtious and helpful they listened to me and it fixed my problem.

Great to hear they finally got you fixed up right

Now get out there and enjoy the :pMiles of Smiles:D :2thumbs::yes:

North Texas Yamaha in Lewisville. They were great. Most dealers are easy to buy from but show their true colors when you have a problem. NYT was responsive and persistent in getting BRP to help out. Very happy with my dealer!

Didn't I read on this board recently that Carlo parted ways with BRP? Seems I recall Lamonster among others say that he had personal business to attend to....

Don't believe he left BRP... just took some personal time off.

His duties are being handled by Chrystelle LaChance who can be reached at 819-566-3446. She has been very, very helpful to a number of folks over the past month or so including me.
