There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. First thanks to Pitbull Powersports (Vanessa and Len) for coordinating with Logan Utah dealer, Renegade Powersports..
i had 828 miles on my 3rd set of tires. I was at Renegade at 8:30 am..at 9 told them my trailer tire saga and both service guys said .. That is not right!!! So they take trailer, file a warranty claim with BRP and confirmed my right tire had barely 1/32 tread and left at wear bars. So here is their resolution (we all hope it works).
"remove wheels and inspect all components. Cannot find any damage or signs of impact. All bearings are ok. Measured hub alignment, right side has a discrepancy between the front of the hub and the rear of the hub as measured to the frame. Discrepancy is approx 5mm toed in at the front. Contacted BRP and discussed options for changing alignment. There is no procedure. I was able to loosen the frame mount bolts and "tweak" the frame. Got the discrepancy down to about 1.555 mm. This was as close as I could get it. Installed new tires"

so now I pack up and start working way back to WA. Will keep you posted...until big thanks to
Matt C. tech at Renegade.

:hun:...:gaah:......Karyl, all things considered, and I know BRP has been really decent about your issues.....This is a BRAND NEW TRAILER......This is a manufacturing defect !!!!!!......Close isn't where it's supposed to be .........the trailer needs / should be replaced, Someone here posted His 622 got 30,000 miles on a set of tires ............You have a problem getting from State to State !!!!!....................Mike

I'm so glad you finally got the problem resolved and I hope that you can make it from UT to WA without needing another set of tires. Maybe Squared Away needs to add trailers to the alignment business.....

Glad to hear you are on the road again. Let's hope that your issue has been fixed and the problems with eating the tires are solved.

I believe you are the first person to report these kind of issues with a BRP trailer. If it tanks again, it might be worth considering that a replacement trailer is in order, unless they are willing to fix and guarantee that this issue will not continue.

As usual, you are handling this much more cool, calm, and collected than I would probably be.

Keep us posted. We are all hoping that this time was the charm.

Let's see...
That's about .2", and it got reduced to about .062"...
I think that you'll be Golden! :2thumbs:

7mm is 1/4 inch. Hard to believe it would be that critical, but I believe it. The RT622 frame surely is built in a jig. Some one up there needs to stop smoking Maple leafs.

I would second that Ann. Sign me up for a trailer alignment. Next time we do an alignment party at my Hanger let's experiment and check the trailers also.

Great news..!

finally checked out the alignment. This is where the problem had to be and may still be. If tongue is off you could also be towing at an angle. Has anyone followed you and checked the angles..?? Well your on your way and will be able to see the improvement..be safe relax and enjoy...:ohyea::ohyea:

I'm thinking 5mm at the hub which I'm guessing is only 6 inches in diameter the tire is probably 20-25 inches in diameter, that would make the toe-in a lot more than 5mm. That trailer needs to be plum-bob and squared.

Murphybrown you must have the patience of a saint! After the second set of rubber I'm
afraid that I would be insisting that the trailer was replaced.
In the UK we have consumer protection rights without having to resort to the law.
Goods must be "Fit for purpose."
....................."Of merchantable quality."
and ............... "Free of manufacturing or inherent ( design) defects."
Your trailer would not satisfy any of the above requirements.
Over here we have a government run department known as the Department of Fair Trading
who enforce Trading Standards and Advertising Standards countrywide.
Perhaps that's why we can't get the 622 trailer in the UK! :dontknow:

Where'd you get 7mm from? :dontknow:

I saw 5mm: multiply it by about .040 (close enough!), and that's .2
(It's actually 0.03937 )

And it was the HUB that had that mis-alignment; not the wheel. The problem is magnified way out at where the tires meet the road. :yikes:

Just used it for perspective. That was the size of my Kidney Stones. 5mm would be slightly less than 1/4 inch.

If you want to get technical: 5mm=13/64 of an inch
7mm=9/32 of and inch

;) It's just our nature... :D
But it IS why we're so good at figuring out maps...

We fully understand how three inches, can equal 150 miles! :roflblack:

:agree: to the gentlemen that the trailer needs to be squared. My advice is return it with a new replacement warranty.
