• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

3000 Mile Service

Had my 3000 mile service done today at Honda of Winston-Salem. Brought my own oil, Castrol 10W40 full synthetic, and had them put Gold Plugs I had gotten in to replace the OEM drain bolts. Make it easier for me to change my oil from now on. It cost $201. Thats with the 15% discount since I bought my bike from them and had my own oil. Not a bad price considering some of the prices I have seen others pay on here.

Nice

So the ryde has been okay'ed to continue out there. Now you are all set to handle the day to day maintenance...:2thumbs: Does sound like a good deal...

Can you take a few photos of the Gold Plugs and what they are. Gotta be an easier way to change oil and filters

They are on the bike so I can't take a photo, but they look like the OEM, and work like them, they just have a hex head instead of having to use Allen and Torx wrenches which tend to strip easily. I have had a set on both The Beast and Cocaine and they are so much easier to remove. Go to www.goldplug.com. No knuckle busting. Sizes of the Gold Plugs are mp18 for the engine plug and mp01 for the transmission. The tech at the dealer said he really liked the Gold Plugs.
