There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 300 km/hr motorcycle chase

maybe s & g's for them

I've had the same thing happen to me with redneck guys in trucks in the rain.. passing me throwing water water in my face at 65 mph and then slamming on their brakes.. all the while laughing and spilling their beer.. then I pass again and get up to 90 and they do the same thing over.. going 120 in the rain is not my idea of fun.. nor is being around redneck drunks on the freeway.... but I got away from them... if one does not have the skill to do this ..

going fast isn't the problem... STUPID is though... you folks reaLLy neeD to Lighten up and enjoy the ride.. if you worry all the time about getting hurt.. bet your buttons .. you will...

The mechanic over at one of the local motorcycle dealerships, the one where I bought my Spyder, bragged about that kind of behavior--three weeks later he was dead. Left behind a wife, two kids, a mother, a father, and a sister--and $240,000 in medical bills. Extremely immature behavior. Totally irresponsible.

er

redneck truckers trying to take you out in the rain...

just jesting Man.. don't get bent by any of my remarks.. I have close to over 1/2 million+ miles with no serious incidents in my lifetime..on a motorcycle.. lucky me.. but the roads weren't this crowded then.... I am glad I am where I am now, and am able to punch these keys..... I still say if one dwells on the bad .. it will fulfill their thoughts..... think only good and only good will happen

Sorry some of you folks.

I also have a problem with justifying stupid in this particular case.

The consequences of a mistake here would have resulted in the deaths of riders and perhaps unfortunate bystanders who just happened to be on the freeway at the wrong time and place.

I also stated above, that I do not care if the 180 + motorcycle pilots carry a death wish and don't care if they kill themselves. I just don't feel that they need to extend that wish to innocent others.

IMO: there is a difference here between doing something stupid like this and some of the things we did when young. I for one never went out on the road and did something to this extent. I have went down the highway "speeding" a few times on the straightaway, never over 100 mph. Never had the urge to see just "what the machine will do."

I equate this type of thing with playing a game of Russian Roulette at a party. Also very stupid, and someone could end up getting killed over it.

You probably already know I disagree with you on this one. The odds of dying playing Russian roulette are much worse (or greater) than being stupid on a motorcycle. If you do not wish to travel at triple digits I have no beef with that, but why look down your nose at those that do? Oh yeah, forgot, you're the head safety guy.

Read post 82. I look down my nose at people who wantonly hurt other people. People in that category usually work very hard to claim their "rights." Regardless of their "rights," they have no "right" to hurt others, or to encourage other people to be hurtful.

Besides Askspyderman is not the safety guy. I am.

fasten your safety belts... and I'm only guilty of 176+ mph.. on the street... so many years ago... now my friend on his hayabusa.... radar detector went off like crazy.. peripheralvision.. spotted in the trees.. and he didn't move.. knew there was no reason too.. kind of like this story I know of a doctor that had a lamborghini and night goggles.. he was clocked many times going to ..hee, hee, his next client.. in the next town hrs away early in the morning..

getting uptight will give you ulcers

arm chair racers here only.. do not be offended.your chose though... this happens every day.. perhaps the world will change now that Harley Davidson has made an electric bike but they are fast too....

1st video

2nd video

Oooooh nooooo! What were you thinking? This makes the guys in the original video seem like pikers. I can see some of our friends here gasping for breath - some foaming at the mouth even. My advice: Relax and enjoy the video...or at least enjoy the video - it's almost impossible to relax while watching it. BTW for those who watched it - did you see the cops attempting to catch him (unsuccessfully)? Who placed the public in more danger - the motorcyclist or the cop in a car?

Immature.

I, personally, don't have any problem with someone killing themselves being stupid. Their families and friends probably do, but that's no my problem. I DO have a problem with them endangering others around them while they're being stupid. If I bike going that fast hits a car (and all it takes is the car driver being startled and moving the wrong way), people in that car are going to die. Going that fast on a bike you canNOT react fast enough to avoid someone suddenly moving into your space. I work in professional racing, I used to race motorcycles when I was young and stupid...NO ONE has the reaction time to avoid something like that at that speed. No...one...

If you wish to travel at high triple digits, fine. But do it at the track or on a deserted road. That way you are not putting OTHERS LIVES at risk. The riders in the video WERE putting others lives at risk and they have NO RIGHT to do so.
