• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

3 UP

That would be one wide bike. Mybe you could remove the rear truck etc and extend the seat with some modifications and make it 3 up. If it could be done alot of cash would be involved. :yikes: Convert the trailer into a 1 passenger carrier death trap, maybe for a mother inlaw.

A Spyder with a sidecar would give you 4 wheels. Not sure about over where you are but here in Australia that pretty much makes you a car (automobile) and bound by all the associated desig rules.

sidear

Believe me , I have been thinking about that so hard. This is what I have been cheking. I called a Vespa sidecar manufacturer on e-bay because is the narrower sidear I could find , verify the measurements ( I don't remember them rigth now) and the sidecar will stick out the spyder for less than a foot. I measure it and my 76 chevy nova is wider by 2 inches, The only problem that i can see is that you have to learn how to drive (again) with the sidecar.

The steering, yaw, and brake sensors won't like it, for one thing, and the constant pull to one side under power and the opposite side under braking would undoubtedly trip limp mode via the steering sensors or brake (ABS) sensors after a while under some circumstances. The Spyder is a highly sophisticated, highly technical machine. It took the development crew years to get it to be ride-able via careful VSS calibration. Do you really want to upset that applecart?

There goes my dream to carry my wife and daugther at the same time. At the other hand the two sidecar idea is not bad but it will be wider than a semi.

2 sidecars would put it at about 7 feet wide. It's doable...

It would look... just wild. Can you imagine 2 bubble pod sidecars?

What was that thing in Star Wars called? Oh I have to look this up.
