• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I installed them into my 2008, no problems.Guess I got cocky,I prepped it all for the 2010 and my clutch line is 4"short.:cus::lecturef_smilie: Yeah I know:gaah:
Any suggestions???I'm aways from the dealer.I spliced a line like that once,What do you think??? ( Of course I've cut everything and I'm ready to go.)

:dontknow:Are you sure you cut all the zip ties holding the cable, From one Spyder to another the ties aren't always in the same spot.

I've clipped everything and it's too short, barely reaches the stock bar.(I've pulled all the panels off,no where to go here.)Any suggestions??:helpsmilie:

All you can do is go from end to end and see what the hang up is.

I ripped 'er down, nope, not long enough---zero slack. The line runs tight from the side of the block up the front through the "dash" with only one tie.All the electrical has plenty of slack.I'll connect it best as I can and there is a Ski-doo dealer 10 minutes from me,he'll have something.
Heads up....Check first!!!:gaah:

I have the ESI 4" risers with the 1" BRP riser and mine all have enough length and I didn't have to cut a thing. Of course every person puts it together slightly different so they do vary.

When you say "clutch line" are you talking about the hose or the switch?
I didn't look up the switch the the hose for a 2008 and a 2010 are the same part number 707000590
If you're talking about the switch then there is another ziptie you need to cut. Been there done that.

installed 2 sets of risers no problem with length post pic of how you have them installed on spyder

It's the hose.Double checked this morning and it is too short.I've been able to pull enough to go up,but not towards me.Could be a fluke that I got the one and only short hose.:roflblack: Stuff happens!I'll put up a pic later when my camera gets home.My wife is out somewhere making "Art" with my camera.

This is the max. I can move the left side.Throttle side,OK.Lots of cable for movement. The line from the reservoir is the problem.

You may have to loosen the banjo bolt at the reservoir slightly, and rotate the fitting. I did. I protected everything with plastic and rags, and was prepared to lose fluid and have to bleed the clutch, but I loosened it only enough to move it, and did not lose a drop.
